grounding into grace
Now available as an individualized workshop ONLINE!
Grace is described by the world’s spiritual traditions in many different words and ways: a divine Presence that flows through all beings; the experience of God’s profound love and potential for Mercy, Compassion, and Forgiveness; the fruit of Emptiness, the direct experience of the opposite of ignorance; or simply, a beneficial change in the energetic current of a system… Grounding is the practice of connecting with the Earth, both physically and energetically, to establish stability, presence, and a sense of rootedness. By staying grounded in the present moment, we can more readily savor the flavors of Grace in our everyday lives.
Explore grounding through Ashtanga Yoga practice and recognizing Grace, or groundlessness, through Dharma philosophy.
Whether you are brand new to the vinyasa of Ashtanga Yoga, or to the kirtan and chanting of Bhakti Yoga, or you have been practicing for a long time, this workshop provides a holistic experience of traditional yoga practice and theory with attentive guidance, philosophical inquiry, and sonic meditation. If you have a particular prayer or devotional text you love from any religion or tradition, bring it with you as you’ll have a chance to integrate it into your yoga practice.
